Ink on Paper: A Letterpress Showcase is a large-scale exhibition in Orange County, California featuring work from national and international letterpress printers and artists. This exhibition will also give visitors unique insight into the art of letterpress through processes, photography, and publications. Exhibiting artists include Tia Blassingame, Ben Blount, Chris Chandler, Michelle and Angie Dreher, Jennifer Farrell, Diane Fine, Chris Fritton, Jennifer Graves, Dirk Hagner, Richard Kegler, Casey McGarr, Officina Tipografica Novepunti, Leslie Ross-Robertson, Mama’s Sauce, Studio on Fire, James Lewis Tucker, Mark Van Wageningen, Brad Vetter, Eileen Wallace, David Wolske, and a selection of excerpts from the book UPPERCASE PRINT/MAKER.
Letterpress printing is performed by artisans from a variety of backgrounds, locales, ethnicities and ages, as this “Ink on Paper” exhibition demonstrates. Irvine Summer Art Market is a monthly outdoor artisans marketplace at the Orange County Great Park—Palm Court Arts Complex. Once a month through August, enjoy the park while browsing unique locally made wares and viewing live art demonstrations.

The market will be open Sundays, May 23, June 20, July 18, and August 15, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
